AVG 9.0 has been released recently!  

Oh, by the way, if you installed AVG version 9.0 (with the toolbar) and you are a Firefox 3.5.x user and you have a "Firefox can not display toolbar, please reinstall" message at the top of your browser, don't.

1. Because you don't have to.  
2. Go to Tools --> Add-Ons.  
3. Click on the AVG Security Toolbar and choose 'Disable'.  
4. Restart Firefox
5. Repeat Step 2
6. Click on the AVG Security Toolbar and choose 'Enable'.
7. Repeat Step 4.
8. TADA!  

You should have your toolbar all nice and pretty for you.  Have a GREAT Christmas!
